East Metro to offer free swine flu vaccines at Mall of Ga.

Holiday shoppers can get a little  extra if they shop at the Mall of Georgia.

The East Metro Health District will offer free swine flu vaccinations -- nasal and injectable-  from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Dec. 19 and from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Dec. 20 at the mall, 3333 Buford Drive.

The H1N1 clinic will be set up on the second floor of the mall between Williams-Sonoma and Perfumania.

The vaccine is provided at no charge to the client. People are encouraged to bring their Medicaid, Medicare or private insurance cards with them for proper biling. Health departments in Lawrenceville, Norcross, Burford, Conyers and Covington will continue to offer the vaccine during weekday clinic hours. Clients are encouraged to call the health department clinic to confirm availability.
