The Obama campaign has 10 campaign offices in Georgia and plans to add several more in the next few days, Adelman said.
Asked why the campaign decided to set up an office in a Republican stronghold like Forsyth, she said: “Just because people voted Republican in the past doesn’t mean they will this time. They may be ready for change.”
In Forsyth, the campaign office is at 600 Peachtree Pkwy., Suite 101, near The Avenue Forsyth.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Adelman said.
The office mans a phone bank from 5-9 p.m. daily, she said. This weekend, the office and others around the state will be doing a “family canvas” for potential voters, Adelman said.
