Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis study. Researchers designing a clinical trial for people at risk of Lou Gehrig's disease are looking for healthy individuals with two or more family members who have or had ALS. Call the ALS Center at Emory University: 1-888-413-9315.

Diabetes screening study. Male and female volunteers are needed for a research study to screen for and treat the early stages of diabetes. The study will screen people for borderline or pre-diabetes. Female volunteers with epilepsy needed. Females who have epilepsy and have children ages 6 to 16 are invited to participate in a study comparing effects of anti-epileptic medications on child development.
