Injured Hawks stars expected to play in Game 4

Hawks head coach Mike Woodson admitted that starters Joe Johnson, Al Horford and Marvin Williams all played with injuries in Game 3 that they wouldn’t have during the regular season.

And he expects all three to play in Game 4 Monday at Philips Arena.

Johnson wasn’t even limping noticeably on his sprained right ankle as he left Philips Arena Sunday. Horford’s sprained right ankle requires daily treatment, as does the right wrist Williams sprained in the Hawks’ first round series against Miami.

“What else are those guys going to do?” Woodson said. “They’ve done anything and everything we’ve asked of them to prepare themselves to play. To their credit, they’ve all played through some pretty tough circumstances.”
