Point guard Acie Law IV will miss the final three games of the Hawks' five-game Western Conference road trip with a sprained right wrist he suffered in the third quarter of Wednesday's loss in Sacramento.

He missed Friday's win over Golden State and Saturday's game against the Utah Jazz at Energy Solutions Arena. He was scheduled to part with the Hawks today to see a hand specialist in Los Angeles while the team traveled to San Antonio for Monday's trip finale against the Spurs.

Law said before Saturday's game that he is still feeling some pain in that wrist and that his trip is strictly to get a specialist's opinion.

• ARE WE THERE YET? The Hawks' travel plans after Friday's victory over Golden State called for them to leave the Bay Area for Salt Lake City after the game.

But foggy conditions in Utah late Friday night forced their flight to be delayed until Saturday morning. The Hawks arrived here just before noon and had only a few hours to rest and regroup for Saturday's game.

• PLAYING IN PADS: When asked before the game why he was putting on what looked like football pads under his game shorts, Hawks point guard Mike Bibby had an answer ready.

"Carlos Boozer," Bibby said. "He always gets somebody."

Bibby was referring to the hard picks that Boozer sets in the Jazz offense. Bibby would know, having faced all the teams the Hawks are seeing on this trip numerous times during his seven seasons with the Kings.
