Ga. Tech top receiver questionable against Hokies

Georgia Tech could be thin at wide receiver Saturday.

Sophomore starter Demaryius Thomas, who leads the team with five catches for 65 yards, is questionable with an undisclosed injury, and Correy Earls is out with a hamstring injury.

If Thomas can’t play, redshirt freshman R.B. Clyburn probably would start opposite true freshman Tyler Melton.

Linebackers Anthony Barnes (shoulder) and Brad Jefferson (arm/wrist) and cornerback Martin Frierson (knee) also have been ruled out for the 3:30 p.m. game in Blacksburg.
