Walker, an all-ACC selection last season, is the third Jacket to be chosen this year, following Michael Johnson (Cincinnati Bengals, third round) and Andrew Gardner (Miami Dolphins, sixth round).

Walker is the second defensive tackle that the Falcons have taken, following first-rounder Peria Jerry from Mississippi. Six of the Falcons’ first seven picks have been on defense, in fact.
