Frank Zhou had planned to wire a big bundle of disaster relief donations to China today.
Small problem: Some of the checks are so large, the bank needs to hold on to them for a day or two.

Zhou, president of the Chinese Businesss Association of Atlanta, is also head of an ad-hoc group of cultural organizations raising money for disaster relief in the wake of the earthquake near Chengdu last week.
Thousand-dollar checks are a relatively pleasant problem to have, he said. In the week since the deadly quake, the group has raised about $80,000, Zhou said. And they're not done yet.
"I think we can still reach $100,000," Zhou said. "Some members are still sending checks. We have another week and a weekend."
Chinese cultural organizations in Atlanta have turned much of their attention to disaster relief, he said.
For example, the local chapter of the National Association of Chinese-Americans has converted its annual meeting Saturday at Sydney's Buffet in Duluth into a fundraising event for disaster relief.
The relief committee is meeting tomorrow to plan a May 31 fundraising event, Zhou said.
