I-85 crash victim remains critical

Demetrius Randle, 45, who lost his son, daughter and grandson in a horrific traffic accident Monday on I-85 near Norcross, was still listed in critical condition Saturday morning at Gwinnett Medical Center.

Randle's son, Alexander Randle, 14; his daughter, Whitney Randle, 21; and grandson, Kayden Alexander Randle-Finley, 13 months old, along with limo driver Mark Anthony Gay, were all killed in the accident.

Police say Cody Rhoden, 20, of Gainesville, was driving a speeding Acura, when he clipped Gay's car. Rhoden has been charged with vehicular homicide.

The funeral service for Mark Anthony Gay is at 2 p.m. today at Antioch Baptist Church on East Church Street in Cuthbert. A memorial service will be held later in Norcross at Hopewell Baptist Church, which Gay attended.

Funeral services have not been scheduled for the Randle family.
