A Loganville woman who had been lying in a Gwinnett County road was hit by a car early Friday morning and died, police said.
A 16-year-old girl driving a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta south on Rosebud Road struck the woman at a low speed about 2:15 a.m., Gwinnett County police Cpl. Illana Spellman said.

"Investigators believe that the 24-year-old victim may have been suffering from a seizure, hence her cause for lying in the roadway," Spellman said.
The woman, identified as Michele Ketschek, died at the scene, Spellman said.
Spellman said the teenage driver, who had two 17-year-old male passengers, may face misdemeanor charges for curfew violation and for violation of the passenger limit for teen drivers.
She said drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the accident.
Police did not release the names of the driver and her passengers, but Spellman said they were from the Loganville area.
