4 Dogs, 1 Jacket agree to NFL free-agent deals

Four Georgia players and one from Georgia Tech accepted free- agent contracts with NFL teams after Sunday’s draft concluded.

Georgia fullback Brannan Southerland signed with the New York Jets, linebacker Dannell Ellerbe signed with Baltimore, wide receiver Demiko Goodman signed with Pittsburgh and wide receiver Kenneth Harris signed with New Orleans.

Georgia Tech cornerback Jahi Word-Daniels said he is going to sign with San Francisco. Linebacker/defensive back Tony Clark, defensive tackle Elris Anyaibe and long snapper Bret White have not yet signed.

Rookie camps for most teams start on Friday.

Overall 10 players from Georgia and five from Georgia Tech were either drafted or agreed to free-agent deals this year.
