Senior defensive tackle Vance Walker did not practice for the second day in a row with what coach Paul Johnson called concussion-like symptoms.

• Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who missed last Saturday’s game with a mild concussion, returned to practice Tuesday. Thomas said he actually sustained the concussion in the season opener against Jacksonville State, but played through it against Boston College.

• Linebacker Brad Jefferson (arm/wrist), backup cornerback Martin Frierson (knee), backup guard A.J. Smith (elbow) and backup wide receiver Correy Earls (hamstring) have been ruled out for Saturday’s game.
