  • Cincinnati is known for its riverboats. Many offer mini-cruises for lunch and dinner, as well as all-day sightseeing tours.

  • Newport Aquarium, located across the river from Cincinnati in Newport, Ky., showcases more than 7,000 aquatic creatures from around the world in a million gallons of water.
  • The Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, located across the river from Cincinnati in Covington, Ky., serves as the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington and is the parish of St. Mary's. The building of the cathedral was the dream of the Most Reverend Camillus Paul Maes, third Bishop of the Diocese of Covington.
