Great temperatures and rain are creating an abundance of local produce at Atlanta farmers markets. Cooler California weather means we will have a full strawberry crop through the summer. Part of the loss from the recent fires in California was 200 acres of avocado trees.

Local farmers markets are offering yellow and wax beans; bicolor sweet corn; slicing grape, cherry and heirloom tomatoes; red torpedo onions; yellow crookneck zucchini and sunburst summer squash; white eggplant; sweet and hot banana peppers; okra; watermelon; cantaloupe.
