Lamar Miller disappoints fantasy owners with 15 rushing yards in loss to Ravens

By Dan Ciarrocchi

Lamar Miller had appeared to be turning a corner in recent games, but when the Ravens came to Miami, he found a brick wall around the bend.

After posting three straight 60-yard games and scoring a touchdown in two of his last three contests, Miller had nowhere to go on Sunday. Miller's number was called just seven times, and he gained a paltry 15 yards versus a Ravens front-seven that got gashed for 203 rushing yards versus the Bills in Week 4.

Fantasy Spin: With the likes of Adrian Peterson, Alfred Morris, Doug Martin and Le'Veon Bell on bye weeks, Miller garnered plenty of starting lineup consideration for Week 5. It goes without saying that the results were undesirable, and difficult for Dolphins brass to justify. The running game was all but abandoned despite either being within striking distance of the Ravens, or leading throughout the game, and Miller's fantasy owners paid the price of those decisions.

The Dolphins have a Week 6 bye, but going forward, Miller is a risky flex play until the Dolphins show more commitment to running the football.
