Another Saturday of SEC football is in the books, and while a few teams made statements in victories, we feel like we know even less about how the rest of the season will play out. Is LSU's defense good at all? Is Alabama's elite again? Will Texas A&M;'s utter lack of defense cost it a game or two down the stretch? Who knows?
The Crimson Tide's defense looked great, and their offense looked bad, but not nearly as bad as Bo Wallace's decision to talk trash before the game.
Matt Jones carried 28 times for 176 yards, and he should get plenty of touches going forward for the Gators.
Neither team showed much in the way of defense, and both offenses looked great; we don't know what's going on anymore.
The Tigers say they're an SEC team, but they still haven't played any other SEC team yet, so maybe they're lying.
Jadeveon Clowney's postgame press conference was much more impressive than the Gamecocks' performance on the field.
The Vols got a late defensive stand to keep Alabama out of the end zone, and Neyland Stadium was rocking -- oh, that was against South Alabama, so never mind.
Texas A&M; is terrible at tackling, and having watched Auburn in recent years, we know a thing or two about terrible tackling.
No word yet on whether James Franklin caught a last-minute flight to LAX Sunday morning.
Hope the Bulldogs enjoyed their bye week, because their next game is against an LSU team looking to take out some aggression.
