Nicole Queen went to TGI Friday’s for lunch with her friends but says she left being shamed in the eyes of her religion after being served pork without ordering it.

Queen is converted Muslin and as such is forbidden to eat pork.

Queen and her friends told WFAA they thought their waiter was upset right away because she ordered a cob salad with no bacon. “Me and my friends were like, 'Let's be extra nice to him,' because maybe he’s not comfortable with us because we’re Muslim,” she said.

But before they were finished with the meal a different waiter was taking care of their table.

Things seemed to be going fine until she asked for an iced tea to go, she claims she got more than that.

Queen told USA Today she took a drink of her tea and it was filled with bacon.

"I knew right away that it was bacon, and I knew right away that it had been placed in my straw because that was the first thing that went into my mouth."

TGI Friday’s say they are “working with her" to look into what happened and told Queen they will “take any appropriate actions necessary based on the findings."More here.
