Miley Cyrus has taken a "Wrecking Ball" to American pop culture, and her brash and buzzy transformation from to bubble pop teen to hypersexed twerking queen is profiled in the October 10 issue of Rolling Stone — the cover of which features the 20-year-old topless, dripping wet, and licking her shoulder. (Guess she hasn't retired that tongue yet!)
As the interview starts, Miley is facedown in a tattoo parlor with her feet in the air, the word "ROLLING" written in ballpoint pen on the bottom of her right foot and "$TONE" on the bottom of her left, about to get those words permanently inked on her soles by a bald guy named Mojo.
It's fitting that Miley would want to commemorate such an audacious cover story at this pivotal time in her career.
As Rolling Stone writer Josh Eells writes, the only thing Miley is squeamish about is the needle. "Does it hurt?" she asks Mojo. "It hurts, right?"
She's curious about foot tattoos specifically — she's no stranger to getting inked. Josh enumerates no fewer than nine tattoos on the Bangerz singer's body.
And he doesn't even include the other tattoo Miley got, according to her twerking tutor. That one is a reference to the Rolling Stones — plural, as in the rock band. With that one and this one, we can irreproachably say that Miley is Rolling Stoned, right?
Do you like the sopping, sans-swimsuit cover? Or do you think Miley should dry off, get dressed, and take a timeout from our lives? Sound off below.
