Breast Cancer Benefits
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
My friend was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 34. It took months for her to get an accurate diagnosis, but her persistence resulted in early detection.
Throughout the month, Shop Talk will feature products & events to benefit breast cancer awareness and research…
On October 6, “St. John Collection for a Cause” arrives in St. John boutiques nationwide. St. John has pledged 10 percent of the retail sales of the jackets, pants, dresses and more in the collection (up to $75,000) to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The Atlanta boutique in Lenox Square will host a luncheon and informal modeling of the light pink and classic black collection on October 11.

I lost a very good friend to breast cancer at the age of 31. She found out in early March & passed away the first of June. So,to all women, please get a mamogram..

I’m with you, Becky. My mom was diagnosed 3 years ago and she’s still here because of her mammogram. She had not detected anything-the mammogram found her cancer.

Spike, I’m very happy for you that you still have your Mom. Treasure her as long as you can.

the mammogram did not find my mom’s cancer. she found it herself shortly after having a mammogram. the tumor tripled in size in the short time between detection and surgery. thankfully she is still with us today and is in total remission.
