Top Model over 35?

TV-Land and Wilhelmina Models are in town tomorrow casting for a TV Land show called, “She’s Got the Look.”
In this Top Model-esque type show for the 35 and over set, 20 contestants compete for a Wilhelmina contract.
Supermodel Beverly Johnson, the first African-American model on the cover of American Vogue in 1974, will be on hand to help with the judging.
9 a.m., Wednesday, October 3, at the Hyatt Regency, 265 Peachtree Street.

My friend was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 34. It took months for her to get an accurate diagnosis, but her persistence resulted in early detection.
Throughout the month, Shop Talk will feature products & events to benefit breast cancer awareness and research…
On October 6, “St. John Collection for a Cause” arrives in St. John boutiques nationwide. St. John has pledged 10 percent of the retail sales of the jackets, pants, dresses and more in the collection (up to $75,000) to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The Atlanta boutique in Lenox Square will host a luncheon and informal modeling of the light pink and classic black collection on October 11.
