Belk takes a Bow

Belk marked its official grand opening in Phipps Plaza today with a ribbon cutting ceremony and gift cards for the first 250 guests.
Devoted shoppers of what was formerly Parisian had initially expressed concern about the conversion to Belk, but many people shopping today seemed okay with the new store.
“It looks the same as before,” said Bob Miner, shopping with his wife, Caroline. “And they [Parisian] reassured me that it would be the same quality service.”
