MAC senior makeup artist Fatima Thomas demonstrates the custom Dreamgirl look on Jennifer Holiday.

Dreamgirls opened on Friday to rave reviews, but not before the starring ladies got a behind the scenes tutorial from MAC Senior makeup artist Fatima Thomas.

Jennifer Holiday specially requested MAC cosmetics for the show and Thomas gave a master class to demonstrate how to create a custom Dreamgirls face.

Here are a few of MAC products used in the show…Check them out next time you’re at the counter:

1) Eyeshadow in Samoa Silk, Carbon and Sketch

2) Fluidline Gel Liner in Blacktrack

3) Lipstick in Girl About Town

4) Powder Blush in Bright Coral, True Red or Fever
