Atlanta Falcon Michael Vick faces more than allegations of cruelty to animals.
Nike, Inc. said yesterday that they were suspending the release of his new Zoom Vick V athletic shoe in light of the dog fighting charges.
The release of the new $100 shoe was scheduled for Aug 23. Existing Vick shoes and apparel will remain in stores.
Is Nike justified in suspending the new shoe release? Why or why not?

Good for Nike! Vick is a disgrace to the NFL, and our fine city of Atlanta. Dog fighting is a horrific and torturous activity, and I can only hope and pray that the courts have the good sense to put him in prison for a long time. I realize that every man is innocent until proven guilty, but the video tape speaks for itself. Anyone who has ever owned a pet would be appalled to see it.
