Devi Kroell, the designer known for her classic Python hobo handbag, is making versions of her exotic skin bags for Target.
The collection, which will appear in stores on July 15, also includes clutches. Prices range from $19.99 to $49.99. (Of course, these are man-made look a-likes).
Also appearing in Target stores next month is clothing by Los Angeles based Libertine with lace boleros ($26.99) and shirtdresses ($29.99) and embroidered shorts ($24.99).

I LOVE Target. This is a true story. I was furnishing my guest house and needed to act fast, as company was on the way. (The bed was delivered one morning and they were to arrive the next day.) I went to several stores looking for a bed ensemble that was cute, moderately priced and good quality. After several stops I arrived at Target and found the perfect set with hours to go before they arrived. Very cute design, 300 thread count, great accessories like throw pillows. My guests were so impressed with the “decorator” style of their bedroom. I love Target!!!

I’m really looking forward to the Libertine line - especially the navy blue blazer and two-toned sweaters - I’ve mentioned the line in my blog a few times AsianCajuns. In regards to Devi Kroell’s Target bags, I’m not quite sure what to think. From what I’ve seen, the Target versions are more structured than Kroell’s original hobos that were featured non-stop in Vogue last year. The totes might look better in person, so I’ll be making a trip to Target come July 15 to check them out!
