Write Now
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The last time I wrote a handwritten thank-you note was the last time I applied for a job (this one!).
Sharon Paskoff, author of “Easy Eloquence: Sample Thank You Notes and Sympathy Cards for Every Occasion,” (Random House Reference, $12.95) warns not to underestimate the impact of a handwritten note.
It’s ok to be somewhat informal, she says, but a nice piece of personalized stationery is imperative.
Two great choices are The Letter Movement collection by Atlantan Amber Renee. The simple, but elegant cards put a new spin on common abbreviations. While Design-her Gals lets you create a character to put on note cards, T-shirts and more.
Where do you shop for your favorite stationery?
