The C (Celebrity) Factor
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
I’m not generally a celebrity sympathizer, but after seeing the paparazzi in action at Fashion Week, I did feel a little bad for the A through D list notables being bombarded with cameras. Here’s what I’ve learned: 1) You’re hot, until you’re not. Imagine you’re a sideline celebrity getting a moment in the spotlight. Then an A or B lister strolls by. Before you can utter another syllable, the camera swings away. Talk about ego crushing. 2) Denial is important. I watched a cameraman point a blinding light less than 2 inches from Glenda Bailey, editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar. Bailey didn’t flinch. She didn’t even stop her conversation.

Hi Ms. Rhone I was wondering if I could get your email address. I am going through press clippings and I see you wrote an article about the media company I am currently interning at. One of my tasks is to compile the emails/contact info for people who have written about us.
Thank You Adam Galarneau adamg@sheckys.com
