Free-agent OL Loper reschedules visit with Falcons

Daniel Loper, a free agent offensive guard/tackle who was a reserve with Tennessee, re-scheduled his visit with the Falcons, according to his agent Leonard Ross.

Loper was to visit the Falcons Friday. Loper, 6-foot-6, 320 pounds, was a fifth-round pick out of Texas Tech in 2005.

He has played in 40 regular-season games with no starts. Last season, he played in all 16 regular-season games and the Titans’ playoff game. His only start was in a 2007 playoff game against San Diego.

Tight end L.J. Smith and center Brett Romberg visited the Falcons on Thursday.

“It went great,” said agent Brian Mackler, of Smith’s visit.
