Taylor's cooperation with federal officials led to the conviction of Falcons quarterback Micheal Vick and two other co-defendants. Taylor was convicted for conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities and for sponsoring a dog in an animal fighting venture.
Taylor served two months in Lewisburg, Pa. for his role in the operation. His testimony was used extensively by the prosecutors who received a guilty plea from Vick.
Vick, who has been indefinitely suspended by the NFL and still on the Falcons roster, was sentenced to 23 months in prison. He is currently incarcerated in Leavenworth, Kansas.
