MELON EYEBALL MARTINI

Before pumpkins take over the pantry, take advantage of autumn's late melon madness with this mouth-puckering party in a glass. A splash of cranberry adds a much-needed seasonal punch to super sweet melon vodka. Use a Parisian scoop to make the melon ball garnish, or for Halloween, drop a candy eyeball in the glass for a ghoulish twist. After one or two of these, everyone will be doing the "Monster Mash."

2 ounces melon-flavored

vodka

1/2 ounce triple sec

Splash of cranberry juice

Shake together the vodka and triple sec with ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour into a chilled martini glass. Add the splash of cranberry juice.
