Things to do in and around Atlanta for Monday, June 18

Happy Monday. Remember way back when it was just a day you struggled to get through?

(Remember last week?)

Now Monday is all about jumpstarting your body and brain — while having fun to boot.

Here are three suggestions for doing so today around the metro area. And considering one of them is a chance to see as many as five movies for free in and eight-hour span, well, how can you resist?

“BUTTERFLY ENCOUNTER”

Back for a fifth summer and butterflyingly bigger than ever, this living exhibition features hundreds of native butterflies in a plant-filled setting at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.  Along with having plenty of photo opportunities, visitors can walk away with some of the tools needed to start or enhance their own butterfly gardens. No, not any of the CNC's 'flies (hands off!). But rather, there's the chance to purchase nectar and other host plants that will soon have butterflies buzzing around your own garden. Continues daily through July 31. 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-4:30 p.m. Sunday. Included with general admission: $10; senior citizens and students ages 13 and older, $7; ages 3-12, $6; free for children ages 2 and younger. Chattahoochee Nature Center, 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell. 770-992-2055, chattnaturecenter.org

“ENANITOS VERDES AND HOMBRES G: HUEVOS REVUELTOS TOUR”

Two of the most beloved Latin pop-rock rock groups from the 1980s and '90s have joined forces for this 14-shows-only tour that launched in Las Vegas and will end up in Radio City Music Hall later this month. The one stop in Atlanta is open to all ages. 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.). $49.50-$69.50. Coca-Cola Roxy, 800 Battery Ave., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, www.cocacolaroxy.com.
