If you are planning to be in Savannah on the Georgia coast, the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Savannah, Ga., is actually on Tuesday, March 17.
And for those who don't like to rush into these things, Dublin, Ga. in eastern Georgia, is having a parade almost a week later, on Saturday, March 21.
Where can I watch the St. Patrick's Day parade?
The Atlanta parade route is in Midtown Atlanta again this year. The parade starts at Peachtree St. and 15th St., near the High Museum of Art and Colony Square. It ends at Peachtree and 5th St., north of the Fox Theatre. If you are riding MARTA (a good idea unless you are already in Midtown), the Arts Center station is close to the start of the parade. The Midtown Station is near the middle of the parade route.
What time does the parade start? Noon-1:30 p.m. March 14, 2015.
The Prime Minister of Ireland, Enda Kenny, will serve as Grand Marshal. In addition to a giant Irish walking flag, the parade includes dancers, musicians and a number of high school marching bands.
Organizers say regional Irish dance groups will perform at the start of the parade near the reviewing stand at 11th Street and Peachtree.
Savannah, Georgia: The 191st St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Savannah will take place on Tuesday, March 17th at 10:15 AM. savannahsaintpatricksday.com/. The pre-parade parties are going on all weekend on River Street (aka the Rousakis Riverfront Plaza).
Where can I watch the St. Patrick's Day parade in Savannah? The parade begins on Abercorn Street at E. Gwinnett Street. (near Forsyth Park), goes north (toward the Savannah River) to E. Broughton Street (east), E. Broad Street (north again) to Bay Street, ending on Bull Street. Here is a link to the parade route map. If you are driving from outside of Savannah, plan to park and take a shuttle.

Dublin, which shares a name with that great city in Ireland, has an entire month of events to St. Patrick. culminating in the annual parade, held this year on March 21.
