A Powder Springs insurance agent was arrested Friday for pocketing about $7,000 in premiums instead of paying insurance companies for coverage, state Insurance Commissioner John W. Oxendine said. Ellery Butler, 49, was charged with three counts of insurance fraud. Oxendine said Butler worked for Eternity Insurance Agency on Dallas Highway.
