Kristy Olds shows off some of her excess skins after loosing 191 pounds, in her Loganville home on Friday Jan. 4th, 2013. She developed life threatening Preeclampsia when she weighed 370 pounds during her pregnancy with her son Drew four years ago. Preeclampsia is when a pregnant woman develops high blood pressure and protein in the urine after the 20th week (late 2nd or 3rd trimester) of pregnancy. Some time after she survived that she was invited to participate in a walk to raise funds for Preeclampsia research. At 350 pounds she wasn't sure how she was going to do that but discovered that she liked walking. After the fundraiser she continued to walk daily and changed her diet too which allowed her to loose 191 pounds. Only now she has a lot of excess skin from her former weight but can't afford the very expensive body contouring surgery she wants to remove it.
