The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

A commercial real estate web site said Tuesday that computer giant IBM is looking for office space to potentially consolidate its Atlanta operations.

The Rooster said IBM has hired John Shlesinger at CB Richard Ellis to investigate the market and look at its "footprint" in the metro area.

Shlesinger did not immediately return calls on Tuesday and on Monday when rumors of the move began.

Clint Roswell, a spokesman for Armonk, N.Y.-based IBM, said Tuesday, "We don't speculate on rumors about the company."
