Newell taps executive to run Asia Pacific region

Newell Rubbermaid, as part of its targeted strategy of expanding its brand and products overseas named Magnus Nicolin to the newly created position of resident of Asia Pacific region. Nicolin, who came to Newell Rubbermaid in 2006 is president of the Sandy Springs-based company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region. The company, which employs 3,700 in the greater Asia Pacific region, receives about $350 million in annual net sales from that zone.
