New digital download kiosks coming to airports

Duluth-based NCR Corp. said it will install digital entertainment download kiosks at InMotion Entertainment stores in airports across the country.
The company expects Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to be one of the first airports to get the kiosks, by around June.
NCR partnered with MOD Systems Inc. to develop the kiosks, which will allow travelers to rent or buy movies, TV shows and music, and download them to memory cards or sticks. They will be able to play video on Windows computers, including laptops, netbooks and tablets, and load music onto USB storage devices. For the rented movies, customers will have 30 days to start watching the rented movies and then 48 hours to finish watching them.
The company has pilot tested movie rental prices at around $3.99 and music at around 99 cents. It plans to test a variety of prices, but said the prices will be "consistent with online digital downloads and in-store rentals."
