More flights on time at Hartsfield-Jackson in April

Nearly 87 percent of flights arrived on time at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in April, up from 71.2 percent a year earlier, according to a monthly federal report.
Among airlines, Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines ranked 13th for on-time arrivals in April, with 84.4 percent of its flights on time, according to the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics. AirTran Airways, which is based in Orlando and has its largest hub in Atlanta, ranked 6th for on-time performance with 87.7 percent of its flights arriving on time.
Overall, the nation's airlines posted an on-time arrival rate of 85.3 percent in April, up from 79.1 percent a year earlier.
