Level 3 to expand metro Atlanta efforts
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Level 3 has announced plans to buff up its competition with AT&T for the business of medium-sized companies in metro Atlanta.
The Colorado-based telecommunications provider already has a network in north Georgia and employs about 250 people in the area. The company plans to spend more than $1 million extending that network and shifting its workforce to suit its newly announced strategy, said company officials. Similar initiatives have been launched in nine other cities. Allan English has been named general manager of the effort in Atlanta.
