'Heist' ad gives Coke first Emmy

An advertisement that debuted during the Super Bowl delivered Coca-Cola Co. its first-ever Emmy Award.

The ad, called “Heist,” topped seven other nominees, including spots from American Express, Budweiser, Hulu and Nike, to win Outstanding Commercial last weekend during the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Creative Arts Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
The ad features insects swiping a bottle of Coca-Cola from a napping picnicker in the park. Coca-Cola collaborated with ad agency Wieden + Kennedy and animators at Psyop to develop and produce the spot.
