Fisher & Phillips; Morris, Manning & Martin launch trade secret and technology law blogs

Atlanta labor and employment law firm Fisher & Phillips has started a blog focused on trade secrets and non-compete law. The blog, which addresses legal issues related to employee defection, recruitment and trade secrets protection, will be run by Christopher P. Stief and Michael R. Greco, who are managing partner and partner, respectively, of the firm's Philadelphia office. Morris, Manning & Martin's blog is centered on technology companies, entrepreneurs and investors. The blog is managed by John C. Yates, the firm's partner who oversees its technology practice. The blogs part of a growing trend among big law firms that are using social media as an outreach vehicle to clients and potential clients interested in specific areas of the law. In recent years, McKenna, Long & Aldridge; Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan; and Smith, Gambrell & Russell have launched their own blogs dedicated to various legal practices.
