The UPS Foundation has pledged $10,000 to Thoroughbred Charities of America to support its mission: a better life for horses.
"Although UPS was thrilled to see Big Brown cross the finish line first at the Kentucky Derby, we were saddened to learn of the tragic loss of Eight Belles," said Ron Rogowski, UPS' director of sponsorship. "The UPS Foundation wanted to honor this incredible filly."
