    Nov. 4 voting:

The remaining votes to be counted include provisional votes, and overseas and military votes. For accounting purposes, those votes, which usually make only 1 percent or less of the vote, have been designated a precinct and will be counted by Friday.

In the Nov. 4 general election, Adams earned 20 percent of the total, and Wallace took 17 percent. The balance of the vote was split among the other six candidates.

In the campaign, Adams touted her experience as an assistant district attorney.

She said her private sector work in state and federal court would help with civil cases.

Wallace campaigned on his time as a fill-in superior court judge, a part-time magistrate, and an assistant municipal judge for two cities.

Incumbent Judge Thelma Wyatt Cummings-Moore is retiring.
