NCR says it will hire more than 2,000 new workers in Duluth and Columbus, in addition to a previously announced expansion in Peachtree City. Within five years, more than 3,000 Georgians could be pulling an NCR paycheck.

Here’s a breakdown of the company’s existing and planned jobs across Georgia:

Peachtree City: Worldwide Customer Service Center

Jobs: 916

By: End of 2010

Types of job: Customer care. Trainers.

Duluth: Corporate headquarters and retail operations center.

Jobs: 1,500

By: Within five years.

Types of job: Engineering, marketing, IT, finance, human resources.

Columbus: New ATM plant

Jobs: 870

By: Within five years.

Types of job: Manufacturing and supply.
