Walmart looks to hire about 300 at new store

Walmart is hiring about 300 people, full and part time, to work at its new store opening in Blairsville, Ga., this summer. The company began taking job applications Monday, June 1, at a temporary hiring center at 27 Highway 515, Suite B, in Blairsville. The hiring center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday of this week. It is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. It’s closed Saturday, but will reopen from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday.
