Two condos to auction units

Atlanta-based Tivoli Properties and Hollywood, Fla.-based Morris J. Kaplan Communities have joined a growing list of developers who use auctions to move multiple units in a matter of hours.

Aqua, a Tivoli development in Midtown and The Cosmopolitan, a Kaplan project in Buckhead, hope to unload nearly 60 units in two days.

Aqua will auction 19 condos, with a minimum bid of $179,000 for a one-bedroom approximately 1,000 square-foot unit. The Cosmopolitan will have 40 condos available, with a minimum bid beginning at $105,000 for a one-bedroom approximately 850 square-foot unit.

Boston-based Accelerated Marketing Partners will auction both properties, Aqua on May 16 and the Cosmopolitan on May 17.

Not new to the Atlanta market, Accelerated Marketing Partners has also conducted auctions at Tribute in the Old Fourth Ward, Element at Atlantic Station, Sterling of Dunwoody and Promenade at NorthPlace in Sandy Springs.
