Innovation subject of Urban Land Institute awards

The Urban Land Institute’s Atlanta branch will honor the region’s most innovative new projects Sept. 18 at the organization’s Development of Excellence awards dinner at the Georgia Aquarium.
Up for this year’s top award are: 201 17th Street; Athens Multi-Modal Station; Cumberland Commuter Club; Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre; the Howard School; Oakland Park; Pemberton Place/The World of Coca-Cola; Serenbe; and Southface Energy Institute.
ULI Atlanta also will honor area leaders for their community service.
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. Guests will have access to the aquarium during the after-party.
The deadline to buy tickets is Monday. Tickets cost $175 for members and $195 for nonmembers. A corporate table for 10 costs $1,750.
