Registration begins at 10 a.m., and the meeting’s business section starts an hour later.

The meeting is at Cobb EMC’s headquarters at 1000 EMC Parkway in Marietta.

It originally included a vote on four of the embattled electric cooperative’s board members, who are elected by the co-op’s customer members.

Four challengers are running against three of the four incumbents.

Cobb County Superior Court Judge Stephen Schuster ordered the vote delayed last week, saying the member-owned co-op needed a more accessible procedure for electing officers.

Several co-op members sued Cobb EMC and its for-profit operating affiliate, Cobb Energy, last fall, saying the relationship between the two had siphoned co-op assets.
