The agreement to sell solar power cells is with Titan Energy Systems, a solar module manufacturer in India.

The deal follows closely on Suniva’s announcement that it would be selling $500 million in cells to Solon AG, a large European solar module maker.

Suniva is based on technology developed by Georgia Tech professor Ajeet Rohatgi that is said to make solar cells cheaper to produce and more efficient.

The company is retrofitting an existing industrial building in Norcross for its manufacturing plant, which is expected to come online by the end of the year.Suniva
