Delta to restore Atlanta-Mumbai flights Saturday
Friday, November 28, 2008
Delta Air Lines will restore non-stop daily fights from Atlanta to Mumbai, India, on Saturday night. The carrier suspended the one flight daily service on Thursday and Friday after the terrorists attacks in Mumbai Wednesday.
Delta spokeswoman Betsy Talton said Friday morning the flights were cancelled out of concern for passenger safety at a time when the terrorists attacks continue. “The safety and security of our passengers is always our number one priority,” she said.
