Delta Air Lines said Tuesday it plans to launch daily flights from Atlanta to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, starting Dec. 18.
The flights, which still need foreign government approval, would use the airline's new Boeing 737-700 aircraft, which can be flown to airports like Tegucigalpa with short runways, high altitudes and extreme temperatures.
